MAN UNITED STARTED NEGOTIATIONS WITH NO.9 SOUTH AMERICAN STRIKER
Man United interested to sign Celta de Vigo centre-forward Maximiliano Gomez and preparing to make a bid in January when the transfer window opens again. Red Devils need a new high-class striker to improve the front-line and Uruguay international is an excellent option in this situation. He had an impressive season and paid big clubs attention.
Mourinho will do everything to add him during the winter transfer window. Maximiliano joined the Célticos from Defensor in 2017 with a £4m deal. This is a fantastic result and he can do much more with high-class teammates. The 22-year-old player is contracted with the Spanish club until 2022 and his release clause is around £30m.
His price could increase during this season and become much more. Uruguayan striker also named in national team squad for the Mundial and helped them to reach the quarterfinals but after losing 2-0 against Les Bleus they kicked out from the tournament. Man United ready to pay big money for the footballer as Lukaku needs a back-up.
